The brief

Rachel and Reed started to plan their wedding of dreams when they came to visit Tuscany and they stayed at Villa I Bibbiani, a marvelous villa on the hills about half an hour from Florence,

The villa that is well known for its large park in which one of Italy’s most important botanical parks. Part Italian garden and part English garden, the park is adorned with stone furnishings, statues and water displays. These include an impressive stone arch known as the “Arch of Man”, a carousel, the “teatro verde”, a theatre immersed in the greenery.

In Italy, traditional wedding ceremony layouts consist of a short ceremony at the wedding venue, followed by drinks and tapas outdoors, and a reception and dance – a structure that Rachel and Reed decided to follow as well.

The ceremony was held in a remote section of the villa’s gigantic park, under a prehistoric stone arch that dates back from Roman times. The imposing structure of this amazing archaic arch was such that we decided to use minimal flowers and let the beauty of nature speak.

For the cocktails and dinner, the florals were instead bold and colorful.
Rachel was very keen on flowers, and we create this décor by mixing toil de joy fabrics for table cloth, decorated plates and colorful flowers arrangements! It was uncommon and marvelous.

The dance floor was set up in the villa courtyard with a band that makes everybody dancing until late night, under the surveillance of two giraffes!
